Vision and Values
As a new not-for-profit voluntary housing organisation, River Clyde Homes will establish and promote a clear value base, identity and purpose to ensure that the wider community is aware of what we stand for and how we will contribute to the revitalisation of Inverclyde.
River Clyde Homes values … Partnership – working productively and positively with stakeholders for the best outcomes for communities Service excellence – having a ‘can do’ approach to ensure communities are provided with first class, quality services, to the best of our ability
Expertise – acknowledging and utilising the strengths of key players in achieving exceptional housing and vibrant communities
Integrity – being open about what we do and accountable for it, respecting others and behaving professionally. These attributes reflect how River Clyde Homes will conduct its affairs and reciprocation of these attributes will, naturally, also be highly valued.
These core values are integral to the achievement of the organisation’s vision – an Inverclyde with exceptional housing and vibrant communities - and our mission – to transform lives through high quality housing and services.
We intend to realise our vision and achieve our mission by pursuing five key goals:
- putting customers at the heart of everything we do
- investing in high quality homes and services
- developing and motivating flexible staff
- continually improving our effectiveness and
- adapting to changing needs
The organisation’s policies and strategies reflect our corporate identity and, in due course, we will develop our Internal Management Plan to set out operational objectives designed to deliver our goals.
